Hello Maam , Welcome to Practo
This is your Dentist -
If you want a permanent solution , go for a Zirconia crown . Best both aesthetically and funtionally with no such restrictions .
Thanks alot.
You can definitely go for restoration of the tooth but it depends on at what level the tooth is broken for that u need to go for radiographical and clinical examination of the tooth
The tooth restoration will be
1 If it is a superficial one then normal composite filling will work(type of filling material and painless procedure)
2 If the tooth is broken at deeper level then u will be needing root canal treatment and then placement of crown(cap ) on top of it
Both procedure has no side effects the only thing is u have to maintain oral hygiene and avoid biting hard directly from that tooth
Next Steps
Visit your dentist for clinical and radiographical examination
Hello Mam,
There are various methods to rebuild your teeth.
Like filling,caps or crowns.
But to decide an xray is needed along with a thorough clinical examination.
If you have severe discoloration or pain or huge part of tooth broken then and root canal treatment will be needed after which you will be given a crown or cap
Hello dear...
Bonding the broken teeth depends upon many factors like...is it painfull or painless...how much teeth is broken...or how much is remaining....is there any swelling history...how are the gums...etc etc...
After knowing answers...we will able to finalize the treatment plan...
