Teeth bonding
During teeth bonding for chipped tooth, some natural enamel is removed then bonding is done but if bonding breaks then natural tooth is again removed then again bonding placed if this process continues then no natural teeth with remain at the end?

See bonding requires some retention for which tooth cutting is mandatory.however the cutting is
Accordingly to rules of tooth cavity preparation among which the foremost is conservation of tooth structure.
So it is always preserved.

Hope you are doing good. Dont worry sir, there will be some very minute amount of enamel be removed but that ll not completely damage your natural tooth. And if a restoration breaks off often your dentist might go for other options other than the old one

I'm really delighted to read your query because not many people think so much and are really aware of their oral health. Rightly said whenever bonding procedure is done some retention is needed for which the surface area of the enamel has to be increased. But if the restoration chips off multiple times then none of the dentist will go for the re-restoration again and again. You will be definitely given other treatment options such as veneers or crowns for the same. So do not worry it will only be a very minute amount of tooth structure that would be sacrificed and the moment the ratio of tooth structure present versus loss is hampered that treatment option will be out.
