Blood strain in stool
My baby is 7 months  3 days he had loosemotion went to doctor .doctor has prescribed enterogermina and zincogut and from past 2 days blood strain in stools then doc told for ultrasound scan in that no problem they told infection and prescribed cefixime oral suspension zifi 50 mg /5ml . But still blood strain is there in stool .plz tell me what to do

Can you mention the colour of blood in stool  wether bright red or dark red? See for diaper rashes also.... Continue zifi for 7 days total....wait 2 to 3 days...if no improvement then revisit to pediatrician or consult online...

If baby is on cow milk plz stop,and start formula feed,if breast milk is not sufficient

Wait and watch for activity and urine output.. it might take upto 1 week but have patience. Just watch for complications.

It's take some time for antibiotic to act full (after 2-3 days) so yes it's dysentery (infection in stool) and you already started antibiotic, continue antibiotic and other medications which is prescribed. Give ors and zinc  and more mother's milk.
Next Steps
if symptoms persist consult Pediatrician.

It can be infection only. Antibiotics also started. So wait for atleast 2 more days to get response and follow your doctors advise... If it is persisting for long time then it can be evaluated for other conditions...
