• Normocytic Normochromic Anemia: The blood smear findings are consistent with normocytic normochromic anemia, which means the size and color of RBCs are normal but there might be a mild decrease in hemoglobin concentration. This can be due to various causes, including early iron deficiency, chronic disease, or acute blood loss. • Ovalocytes: The presence of ovalocytes can be seen in certain conditions like hereditary ovalocytosis, iron deficiency anemia, and other hematologic disorders. Eosinophils: 0.9% • Reference Range: 1 - 6% • Interpretation: Slightly below the normal range but not necessarily clinically significant.
