Blood pressure medication
I was prescribed by a Doctor, Telmisartan 40mg with hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 tablet daily for controlling BP, when my BP was 160/100. Now after taking this medicine for months, my BP reading is 110/70 from few days. I want to know whether I have to continue the same medicine or change the medicine or stop it.

Hello... Your Blood pressure seems to be well controlled with the medication you are taking. There is absolutely no reason why you should decrease or discontinue the medication.
Next Steps
However, you should continue monitoring your BP regularly (once daily) for the next week or so. If any reading is less than 100/60 (either value), or if you experience dizziness/weakness, then you must go back to your doctor with your BP chart. He will decrease/change the medication as appropriate.
Health Tips
When on Telma and HCT, it is advisable to check KFT (kidney function test - blood test for kidneys and electrolytes), 2-4 weeks after starting the medication, and then once every 3 months.
