Blood in stool
I noticed slight blood in my stool , second time in last 2 months and I have a skin tag or hemorrhoid just around the stool area but totally painless . The blood was light red and not mixed with stool . What can it be ?

Blood in stools. It can be due to hemorrhoid or even fissure. You have to be examined by general surgeon with proctoscope to come to a diagnosis and further treatment.

[ ] Hi if this bleed is not associated with pain than is generally due to piles and quantity of blood should be more. If this is associated with pain and quantity is less than this is due to fissure. At times there may be sigmoid colitis which leads to cramping lower abdominal pain and may cause passage of blood in stool. Other rare causes are presence oflpolyp growth Or a malignant growth. You should avoid constipation, as this is the cause for piles/ Fissure. it's better to get evaluated. Take salads in each diet. Take plenty of water. feel free to ask any further quary.Take care.
