Blood in sputum
I have been coughing for a long time and just recently I started coughing blood.done sputum for AFB which is negative.Was given antibiotics, even I cough blood,but the cough has reduced.What can I do to stop blood sputum and cough completely

Have to get further evaluation done in line of hemoptysis,u need to undergo CT chest and sputum for gene xpert test and consult pulmonologist for further evaluation and treatment,need to know details of history for further guidance

Detailed history is needed. Repeat sputum for afb,early morning sputum, continuously for 3 days.also do sputum for cb not test.certain investigations, have to be done. Pl consult Pulmonologist online with all the reports and treatment taken.
