Blood in mucus
I had extreme coughing since two days and today while coughing I saw blood in my mucus is it serious ? Or because I have coughed way too much because of which my throat got scratched and therefore blood was seen in my mucus

U need to get an x ray chest done to rule out chest problem..coughing out blood is not good..the doctors do bronchoscopy to rule out any serious cause. So get urself investigated and rule out all dangerous causes. Till then u can use a cough suppresant to get relief from the symptoms.
