Dear Sir/Mam,
Blood comes out of the nose of my father 3-4 times a day for last few days. After a few minutes blood stops. Today some frozen blood also came along with running blood.
Can you please help and prescribe some medication that can be purchased from the local medical store?
Many Thanks
Harpreet Singh

Hi good morning,
Such tupebof bleeding is generally seen in case of nose picking or hypertension (high BP). Though there are other causes as well, they are not common.
Next Steps
get Blood pressure checked. Also do blood test like CBC and PT, APTT.

ask him not to don't panic, it will increase the bleeding further. whenever bleeding happen sit upright and pinch the nose withoderate pressure for 5 to 10 min till bleeding stops. ask him to breathe from mouth. spit out any blood comming in mouth from behind the nose, don't swallow. apply ice pack to surrounding of nose and cheeks.
if problem persists please consider doing online/formal consultation.

Does he have B.P or is he on any other medication? If so please consult a physician for it. If bleeding is severe, consult an ent. For now you can pinch the tip of the nose and hold that position for 3-4 minutes. Botroclot nasal drops 3drops thrice daily
