Hello normally there is bleeding after delivery up-to 45days as you feed the baby there is uterine contraction so there is bleeding, as we give methergine, a ergot preparation. As time passes the colour of blood will change. And slowly it convert into white colour discharge for few days and will disappear. its normal to bleed after delivery for even a month but you should not soak more than 3 complete pads ... if so. contact your doctor immediately for retained placenta or secondary PPH
