Bleeding gums are commonly associated with dental plaque and calculus. This needs a thorough cleaning mostly, I can't tell for sure without an examination. please do not stop brushing, this will lead to problems bigger than bad breath. please visit a dentist and get an examination done, followed by a cleanup if recommended.
