Black threads in stools
My baby girl is 5 months old.while passing stools some black threads appearing in her stool yesterday we given storlac sachets with milk these black threads are increased today but baby is active and doing well and good

Hi I can fully understand your worry. Ease do not give Albendazole syp as suggested by other doctor.. as it can be given to babies above 9 months Incase you have started banana for baby in diet.... then those black thread are normal.. It would be better if you can do a direct consultation ( better online..due to this Covid)

Do stool for occult blood . Give syp.albendazole 200mg p/o stat

if baby is active and doing well and good- than no worries some time it is normal continue feed if again black /red stool - than click , and consult
