Black spots on scalp
Today while combing my son's hair I saw small black spots on his scalp. They look dry and come out with strands of hair when combed strongly. He has no itching or pain complaints.

Thanks for the query. Such a presentation can be seen with fungal infection of the hair roots and need expert treatment. A simple skin scraping will be able to identify the causative agent and treatment can be initiated. It requires around 6 weeks of therapy.
