Definitely particular in cases of HTN or other cardiovascular issues, Amitriptyline should be avoided, there are other medications options too for sleep disturbances You must consult your psychiatrist and discuss it with your medical records of BP medications too Accordingly medications dose will be optimised, Along with it you must follow certain lifestyles modifications as Relaxation exercises as well walk in a day Avoid oily caffeine rich diet Sound sleep for 7-8 hours Reduce screen use Drink  water, maintain hydration Include salad fruits in diet

Hi, please do consult your psychiatrist for adjustment of your medications. Medications such as tryptomer may cause increase in blood pressure but there may be other causes as well. Adding antihypertensives such as ramistar or ciledge without proper medical review may lead to problems like low blood pressure. Hence, please talk to a psychiatrist and general physician.
Next Steps
Consult psychiatrist.
Health Tips
Don't change dosages by yourself.

Tryptomer (Amitriptyline) can sometimes increase blood pressure, heart rate, and cause palpitations, especially at higher doses. In patients with hypertension, it must be used cautiously. If BP remains high or side effects occur, alternatives like Mirtazapine alone, Trazodone (low dose), or non-sedating sleep stabilizers may be considered after medical review.

Don’t change the dose on your own. Your BP is still high, so medicine needs review by your doctor. Keep checking BP daily and avoid stress, caffeine, and late screens. If severe headache or chest pain happens — go to emergency.
