Is bipolar depression a mental illness? If bipolar depression is a mental illness am I eligible for getting reservation under government job?

Hi there... There is a whole disorder Bipolar disorder. Bipolar depression is one phase of this disorder, and yes its a mental disorder, but managable with medication and psychotherapy hand in hand. There should be not any problem in getting government job and reservations, but you should clarify with some government official or expert to answer that.

Bipolar disorder is a mental disorder which affects the mood. On one pole is high mood or irritability called mania other pole is characterized by clinical features of low mood called depression.
