Belly button swollen
My baby is 39days old. His belly button swollen as like attached in the photo. Please tell me what should I do. Doctor said it will go off of its own by 6months or 1year not to worry. Please help me.

Greetings it's umblical hernia.u can wait till 1 yr ,it will go off by itself if not we need to consult pediatric surgeon

It's umbilical hernia. It should subside by 1 year of age.
If there is increase in size or abdominal distension or Vomiting, immediately consult nearby pediatric surgeon.
