Belly button
Doctor's, Two months before, i have been bleeding from my belly button.. then there was drain like yellow fluid white fluid kind of. Went to my family doctor, i was given antibiotics, but the drain continued, then i went to another physician, she checked and drained all the pus, and then added another antibiotics after 8 to 10 days only it got settled. I did ct scan inbetween, it said there is a cystic lesion in the umbilical region 3.5*2.4cms, possibly an umbilical abscess. And no urachal remnant or urachal cysts. It did settle.. no pain these days and i accidentally fell and hit my abdomen, the next morning, I noticed bleeding again, i went to physician again, I got it checked. I was told there isn't any issue. May be the healing tissue got disturbed by the fall. Now 4 days later again the draining started today. What should I do next..  Thank you

recurrent drainage suggests persistent cyst or a  abscess needs re evaluation. A consultation can review CT and advise. Feel free to book one.

A recurring umbilical discharge — even after antibiotic treatment and drainage — along with a 3.5x2.4 cm cystic lesion on CT scan suggests this is not a simple abscess but likely a persistent umbilical cyst or remnant tissue that keeps re-infecting. Falling and re-triggering drainage means the underlying cyst cavity has not fully resolved. Without surgical removal of the cystic lesion, this cycle of infection, drainage, and recurrence is likely to continue.
Next Steps
You need a surgical consultation urgently — a general surgeon should evaluate whether the umbilical cyst needs to be excised. Antibiotics and drainage alone won't provide permanent resolution if a cystic cavity remains. Please consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation.
