My sister 30 years old had first attack of bellsatta palsy in 2016 November and then second attack 2017 June and then again third attack on 2018 june. She is diabetic from past 5 years. And in 2018 she is diagnosed with herpes virus. Why it is recurring? How to make sure it don't occur again

Whether all episodes occurred on same side ? If yes then local cause in the nerve course should be ruled out. Other causes of recurrent facial nerve palsy should be investigated like Sarcoidosis.
