Hello, Suggestion is to not go for a bariatric surgery. It has a lot of side effects. Follow a proper balanced and healthy diet, do not go for crash diets, keto diets or any supplements as it may cause ill effects on your health. Gaining weight continuously can be due to a lot of reasons. Suggestion is to get checked for any underlying medical condition. -Exercise daily for an hour (Can be at home or simple exercises like running, jogging, brisk walking, on the spot marching, squats, etc) -Include protein in your diet (taking protein rich foods post workout helps in muscle building) -Increase fiber in your diet (Will help you stay full) -Include fruits and vegetables in your diet (2-3 serving) -Water intake of atleast 3L per day -Add healthy fat like nuts to your diet. -Avoid/Exclude fried, sugary and junk food -Eat a balanced and healthy diet -Do not skip breakfast as 40% of days energy is from breakfast NOTE: The above mentioned practices can change according to a specific medical condition.

Hi, Bariatric surgery is done when your BMI, is above 35 with any co morbidities at this age... Pls let me know ur weight, and height to calculate BMI and other lifestyle patterns... So that i ll be able to tell u whether u can go for this surgery or not. Also if u have not tried losing weight earlier and u have thought of losing weight now... 1st go for medical weight loss therapy... i.e through diet and exercise... U will be able to lose weight i am sure... If u hv tried everything earlier and still not able to lose weight... Get ur blood tests done and then consult with a good dietitian and ask for her opinion. I am dietitian and bariatric counselor... If you share more details with me i ll be able ti tell u in a better way, what u can opt for next.
Next Steps

Hi For Your information its  70% diet and 30% activity for weight loss result. If you put entire body in one thing result would be slow. _________________________ So if you doing just gym and not following any diet so the weight loss will not be as per your expectation. _________________________ So I would recommend you to meet a Dietician/ Nutritionist for a assessment and a personalized diet plan and I would not recommend bariatric Surgery as you can loose 40 kg with a healthy diet and healthy regime. Many of my clients have achieved this target.
