Bad breath odour
Hello there Doctors
My best friend is suffering from bad mouth odour what can she do with the same? Any remedies to ve followed please let me know.

Hi ,bad breath can be caused by ceratin foods,health conditions and habits.most cases it can be improved with proper dental hygiene,BT It is always good to see your dentist to find exact underlying cause for it and to take proper treatment on time

Most cases of bad breath go away after scaling and polishing ( cleaning)of teeth. Get that done and also check for cavities...food getting stuck in cavities and staying there for a long time can also cause bad breath.
If it doesn't go away then check for any throat infection or stomach problems.

Hello
Bad breath can be due to multiple reasons. Mostly it is due to negligence in maintaining the oral health. Due to inadequate care, you can see soft deposits on your tooth surface, which will harden over period of time, turning into tartar. These deposits attract more and more deposits and bacteria. Another reason is cavities. A decaying tooth will give a foul smell by virtue if accumulating food particles and bacteria.
Next Steps
My advise would be to get your self checked once by a Dentist. Any deposits will require a Dental cleaning (scaling). Any cavities will have to cleaned and filled up.

Bad breath may be due to various reasons. Calculus deposits on the teeth give a home to bacteria which causes bad breath. So proper scaling and polishing and maintenance of the oral hygiene will help ur friend to the best. If any other pathology like cavities in teeth which are home to food lodgement may have to be filled up. Or any other problem will be soved by the dentist u visit. Give a thorough check and do as recommended
