I have been experiencing breath issues for quite sometime now. What could be the cause? Please suggest.

Most common reason for bad breath is improper oral hygiene so you should take proper oral hygiene measure .....periodontal problems and sometime abscess also cause bad breath ......for that you should consult dentist

You need to get your scaling and polishing ( cleaning of teeth) done. Then home maintainence with twice a day brushing, flossing and mouthwash.
