It can be probably muscular only which may be because of wrong posture of because of bad bed on which you sleep.

Dear friend Back pain at this age might be because of lack of exercises or bad posture which is very common in students. So dear friend instead of taking medicines go for little warm up exercise like a mild walk for 20 minutes or so. Usually after 15 or 20 days you will feel better...

Hi, this is Dr Hitin Mathur, orhopaedic surgeon from Fortis C Doc Hospital, New Delhi. Welcome to Practo. Back ache at your age can arise due to postural problems or low vitamin D levels. Learn spinal flexion exercises from a physiotherapist and do them 20 mins 3 times a day. Get the following blood tests fasting: calcium, phosphorus, alkaline phosphotase, vitamin D levels, uric acid, CBC with ESR and review with investigations reports. Avoid prolonged sitting, weight lifting and forward bending. Get 1/2 hr of sun exposure everyday preferably in the morning.
