Back pain in lower part
Need to ask about physiotherapy in AIIMS. Have booking for patient in neurology department. Is physiotherapy part of neurology or I need to make a new booking?

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times.

Physiotherapy comes under rehabilitation department. It is used on patients being treated by Neurologists, Orthopaeduc surgeins and other specialities. A Neurologist can refer y for physiotherapy.

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  We dot represent any hospital here. Neuro patient will be seen by a physiotherapist if required. But for what you are asking, you will have to check with the hospital itself. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.
