Baby weight
My baby is 90days boy and he is on bottle feed mostly along with breast feed. His birth weight is 3.7 kg. His present weight is 6.1 kg. Is he under weight?? My mill is coming but not more than 1 oz per hand expression. Please let me know how to improve. I am taking lactocare and domestal tablets. I have a doubt.. Do I have that milk mine in me or not.. I mean if I try and try will I be able to feed my baby fully?? I mean with medications and food and all.. Or I should give up?

Firstly follow the sequence correctly. Breast feeding followed by top feeds. Baby has grown quite well for his age so no worries in growth terms. Milk is always there but there are many secondary factors which govern feeds like stress, your diet etc etc. For more inputs you can consult me.

Continue to assiduosly breast feed your baby for at least 15 to 20 min  upto 30 min on each breast ( one breast at one sitting). Don't estimate the milk production as per hand expression ,as the suckling of the baby has a stimulatory effect on the the breast and the brain  ( both prolactin and oxytocin release)) and the more you put the child to the breast ,the more will be the milk production. Continue using galactagogues and also homemade ones like methi, sonth ,sabudaane ki kheer and masoor daal, and papaya etc.And most importantly relax.Happy motherhood

Hi.. First of all, your baby is gaining weight according to his age.Secondly stress is the main factor for decreasd breast milk.If ur baby is sleeping for 2-3 hrs after feed and passing colourless urine atleast 5-6 times a day , he is fine.It means you are having suff. Milk.
Next Steps
Keep feedg properly..givg proper time for feedg.Continue for 6 mnths exclusive breastfeed.
