Hello. The primary teeth start erupting by the age of 6 months and completed by 2 years of age.
An x-ray would help diagnose the position and stage of teeth in the jaw.
For the time, you can encourage biting hard food like apple and gently massage over the gums.
Wait for three to four months. If after few months no teeth erupted then consult doctor.
Till then encourage your kid to bite on hard things like apple.
Give gentle massage over gums, it will help her.
Milk teeth generally start erupting at the age of 6 months and are completed in 2 years. There are a total of 20 milk teeth(10 upper jaw and 10 lower jaws)and the child eats with these 20 teeth for up to 6 years at this age first permanent molar erupted. Delay in eruption is normal but more than 6 months in milk teeth is more, Rub the gums with your finger with gums astringent that may have some help. advise getting the x-ray done .
I would suggest you to take your baby to a pediatric dentist for an evaluation. Sometimes teeth tend to erupt a little late. However it's important to get your child's gums evaluated as well. X-rays won't be recommended at this age as wait and watch is a valid option.
