Baby not talking
Hello Doctor
My Nephew is 2.10 years old but he is still not talking. He even doesn't say easy simple words like mama, baba,dada etc. He can hear everything and respond properly by gesture and sometimes by making noise whenever we talk or ask anything to him. He has elder sister - 6 years old who use to talk with him and also there are 6 members in family who use to talk with him in same language - Marathi.
Sometimes he says Mama, Yaya, Nana but that too very rare (twice or trice in a week)
Why he is not able to talk?
Should we go for speech therapy? or is there any other solution for this?
Please suggest...

Greetings. More detailed history is needed. Is he pointing to objects. How is his eye contact and peer play. Neonatal history is also needed. Is there any repititive behaviour. Kindly consult pediatrician online or offline
