Baby did not poop for 6 days
My baby 7 weeks old pooped last time after 5 days, it was solid properly formed potty (unlike previously runny one) now it has been 6 days she has not pooped. However, she keeps passing smelly gas.
She is beinng breastfed exclusively.

The number of motions is not important at this age,the consistency is,which should be soft and formed.
Passing 10-12 stools a day is normal,as is passing one motion after 4-5 days.
If NOT accompanied by other symptoms like vomiting or abdominal distension or dullness and refusal to feed OR not passing flatus,relax!!
Ensure regularity in breastfeeds at regular gaps of atleast 2-1/2 hours,maintain hygiene in feeds.
