✅ Alternative Vitamin B12 Tablets (India) 1. Nurokind OD 2. Rejunex OD 3. Bevon OD 4. Mecobal OD 5. Methycobal 500 mcg / 1500 mcg 6. Neurobion Forte (contains B1, B6, and B12 – good for nerve support)
Next Steps
🕒 Dosage (Typical) Methylcobalamin 1500 mcg once daily after a meal Duration: 4–12 weeks, or as prescribed May be continued weekly or monthly for maintenance if needed
Health Tips
💡 Tips: Take with water after food to improve absorption. Avoid taking with tea/coffee immediately as they may reduce absorption. If deficiency is severe or with nerve symptoms, injections may be required (like Methylcobalamin 1000 mcg IM weekly). Let me know if you need vegetarian options or a diet chart to improve B12 naturally.

You did not specify your exact B12 level, severe deficiency requires injections, less severe, oral tablets. Since you got a tablet prescribed, you can simply ask for "methylcobalamin" tablets from your pharmacist.  Mecofol, Meconerv, and Nurokind are some companies you can choose from.
Next Steps
Just ask for "Methylcobalamin" capsules.
Health Tips
Check the dosage you were prescribed and take the same dose.

Dear Practo User. Thanks for sending across your query. If B29 is unavailable, you can try alternatives like Neurobion, Bevon, or Methycobal—all effective for B12 deficiency. These support nerve health, boost energy, and improve overall well-being. Ask your pharmacist or doctor for the best fit.
Next Steps
For further details you can consult with me in Dr. Monga medi clinic or consult me directly by taking a consultation on Practo.

First of all ma'am, I would suggest you to tell us a bit more about any symptoms you're experiencing like weakness throughout the day, or weakness while doing daily chores then I would suggest you to get a baseline blood test done to rule out any deficiency of any of these vitamins and furthermore we can plan on starting with multivitamins. We can start with Tab. Supradyn one tablet daily for 4 weeks preferably after breakfast/ meals.
Next Steps
Do get a baseline blood test done to detect the levels of these vitamins and other trace elements before initiating oral multivitamins and also avoid self- medication.
Health Tips
Avoid taking multivitamins on empty stomach so as to prevent mild gastric problems and other side effects. Thanks & Regards
