Strech marks are normal in pregnancy due to distension of abdomen. You can't completely prevent themm you can apply bio oil

You may not be able to completely prevent stretch marks as it also depends on genetics, but you can try the following measures to reduce excessive stretch marks. 1. Ensure proper hydration. Drink an adequate amount of water. 2. Take protein rich food as protein is needed for the skin's elasticity. 3. Ensure proper moisturization of the skin (stretch marks can appear on belly, breast, arms and thighs also). Ensure to moisturize these areas daily. Dryness can increase the stretch marks. 4. Ensure slow and steady weight gain. (Sudden and excessive weight gain can cause sudden stretching of skin and lead to more stretch marks) Any good moisturizer is enough. You can try extra virgin coconut oil or Shea butter containing moisturizers which have been found effective by some women (no moisturizer is 100% effective).
Health Tips
Stretch marks slowly become lighter over time, so don't worry even if you get some. Consider them as your baby's first artwork and a reminder of your strength!
