Hi good morning Thnxs for your question If ur period regular (28days) cycle than ur ovulation days will be around 13 to 14 day of period. In ur case its 10 th day rt? If ur period cycle less tgan than 28 days than u should take ipills. Within 48 hrs of unprotected sex. Or   wait for next period date if u missed ur regular period than do urinary pregnancy test with morning sample and inform me result so that I can advise u in better way. It’s better u take i pill within 48 hrs of intercourse. Though it was 10th day of your cycle, sometimes ovulation can be early..so precaution with i pill is better .

I do not advocate emergency pills as thy hv many side effects n a high failure rate which means u can be pregnant despite one So as of now u will hv to wait for your next period Fr subsequent cycles u can consider a multiload insertion best method of contraception in a woman who has had a child
