I was just wondering how much would it cost to have RCT. I have a badly damaged molar and a ball like lump on the gum beneath the tooth has already appeared. Someone told me that only RCT could save the tooth.

Hi sir....
The lump on your gums may be due to infection from that damaged tooth....First you have to take IOPA (X_RAY) of the damaged tooth and then consult with your nearby dentist to diagnose the problem ...Treatment plan can only be made only after X_RAY investigation only....if it involves your nerves then u should definitely go with RCT which cost ranges from 3500....

Talk to experienced dentist online and get your health questions answered in just 5 minutes.
First and foremost get a radiograph done so as to assess whether the tooth can be salvaged and to evaluate the extent of periapical infection. Visit a good experienced dentist at the earliest to get an expert opinion and treatment. You may require multiple visit RCT with repeated intracanal dressing to alleviate the swelling or abscess. RCT should be followed by a crown too.
Charges depend entirely on the dentist's experience and expertise.
