Autism or not?
Hello doctor...my baby is 18 month old now...can u please tell me...how to know my baby have autism or not?? What is the symptoms of autism? Because baby only say mama and papa... nothing more... please give me reply...I am so worried about it. Which age is best to know baby have autism?

You should get the child evaluated
There are so many age appropriate screening tests and diagnostic tests available
Earlier the diagnosis made , intervention improves the outcomes
As far as symptoms or i should say red flag signs for autism are
Poor response to name call by the age of 1 yr
No meaningful word by 18 months of age
Does not play with toys appropriately
Fixed patterns of interests and activities
Decreased interaction with peers
Has odd movement pattern and or very repetitive behaviour
Repeating words(echolalia)
Is hyperactive
Toe walking
