Atypical endometrial hyperplasia
From TVS scan we got to know endometrial thickness is 13mm  . We got Dilatation and curettage done on 5th Dec . Histopathology report says ( presence of atypical cells ) . How long will it take to progress to cancer . Doctor has advised Total laparoscopic hysterectomy. So can we wait for 2-3 weeks ?. But doctor is not giving any time . She is telling to get surgery done immediately . Please help .

That kind of urgency is found only in Obstetrics. In Gynaecology that kind of urgency is unwarranted,  more so  because there is no diagnosis of malignancy.  I think there is no harm if you get operated after a month.
