Anxiety attacks, also known as panic attacks, can be overwhelming experiences. As your psychologist, I want to provide you with psychoeducation on anxiety attacks. They are intense episodes of fear and discomfort that can come on suddenly and reach their peak within minutes. Common symptoms include rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath, sweating, trembling, and a sense of impending doom. It is important to remember that anxiety attacks are not life-threatening and typically subside on their own. Learning about anxiety and its physical and cognitive symptoms can help you recognize when an attack is occurring and understand that it is a temporary experience. We will work together to develop coping strategies such as deep breathing exercises, grounding techniques, and cognitive reframing to manage anxiety attacks effectively. Remember, with support and proper strategies, it is possible to reduce the frequency and intensity of anxiety attacks and regain a sense of control over your well-being.

It's important for you to seek professional medical help from a qualified healthcare provider. They will be able to conduct a thorough evaluation and provide you with an accurate diagnosis. Given that you've already consulted with an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist and they haven't found any abnormalities, it may be helpful to consider other possible causes for your symptoms. Since, I need further details to look into the matter it's not possible to provide any diagnosis for now. I can suggest a few potential reasons for your throat pain: 1. Acid reflux: Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) can cause a burning sensation in the throat and discomfort while eating. Acid reflux can also lead to muscle spasms in the throat, resulting in pain. 2. Stress and tension: Emotional stress and anxiety can manifest physically, and throat pain can be one of the symptoms. Stress can cause muscle tension in the throat, leading to pain and difficulty swallowing. 3. Muscular strain: Excessive strain on the muscles in the throat, such as from prolonged talking, yelling, or excessive coughing, can result in muscle pain. These are some of the possibilities but accurate diagnosis can be done after probing in details. I will recommend you to book an appointment so that I can help you out.

Since your ENT doctor is not finding any throat related issues, let us presume that your physical health is not worrisome as far as your current symptoms go. With this, I would suggest you to consult a gynaecologist to ascertain if your issues are any way connected to menopause etc. Alternatively you may consult a psychologist to understand if your issues are connected to your state of mind and how to go about it.
Next Steps
Please consult a gynaecologist / psychologist as you may find it suitable.

Look at all the areas of life that are causing you anxiety or stress and try and work on calming down in those aspects. your symptoms should start reducing by then. however a session with a therapist will be the much needed thing for you right now.
