ANXIETY PROBLEM
I was suffering from depression and anxiety from last 10 months but after starting medication from last 4 months depression has improved but anxiety is still there as i cannot sit idle all irrelevant thoughts come in my mind i am still taking medication just wanted to know how long it takes for complete cure for anxiety..and any natural techniques to reduce it

Cognitive Behavior therapy helps you to understand rectifying anxious or depressive thoughts. Pls take a help from a clinical psychologist as early as possible. . Regards Dr. Mala

Just be aware that medicine are just one part of any psychic treatments like depression and they help in suppressing the emotions to give temporary relief. However medicine can't manage your thoughts and behaviors which is the actual root cause for your depression and anxiety. So it's important to follow in parallel, a non medicine treatment plan like changes in your lifestyle, psychotherapies or mindset changes excersise, relaxation techniques, dietary changes along with regular counseling support to overcome this problem permanently. Feeling low, having crying spells, sleep and appetite disturbances, and difficulty in concentration and attention are some of the signs of Depression. Consult a Psychiatrist for a detailed assessment. It is likely with medication and counselings the symptoms will improve. If you are feeling suicidal or hopeless consult a Psychiatrist immediately.
