Anxiety Issues
I've been suffering from anxiety disorders, especially social anxiety disorder. I often experience fear of doing certain stuff along with trembling, sweating and dizziness. I face problems in interacting with people. Often, thoughts of others' opinions disturb me. I used to believe that I was an introvert. But recently, I discovered that I got anxiety issues. What can I do to cure them?

Social anxiety disorder is a common but underdiagnosed condition. See a psychiatrist who will treat with medications and therapy. Therapy may involve systematic desensitisation, relaxation training and social skills training.

Social anxiety disorder, also called social phobia, is an anxiety disorder in which a person has an excessive and unreasonable fear of social situations. Anxiety (intense nervousness) and self-consciousness arise from a fear of being closely watched, judged, and criticized by others. Symptoms include: Tremors, feeling anxious or nervous, sense of panic, sweating, increased heartbeat, feeling of impending doom, stomach discomfort, dizziness etc  These can be debilitating. If the anxiety us overwhelming, consult a psychiatrist at the earliest. With the right medication and counseling, it is likely your symptoms will improve. Other than that, try yoga, deep breathing, meditation, moderate exercise, progressive muscular relaxation and guided meditation.
