Hello,  It is not unnatural to feel anxious as a part of normalcy,  but it becomes an illness once it starts interfering with normal functioning in life.  So seems to be the case with you. Good news is that it is a treatable condition.  IBS is a physical manifestation of similar psychiatric issue of anxiety again.
Next Steps
Treatment usually involves a combination of medications and counselling/psychotherapy. I would urge you to seek a mental health professional either online or in peraon,  discuss in froth and get on with the treatment plan within mutual consent.
