I have some Past bad Experience that was Affecting on my Present Behaviour.... Actually what happen when I was 13 years old I was Sexually Abused By one Person there are no one is there to help me I was crying loudly but no one is there.... then by God grace my mom is come from her office early that day... then she was saved me...then the person is arrest by police but from That Situation I Have Low self Esteem and I have Fear for Each small Situation it's also affect On my Study... Then Recently I am Also Consult With A professional related Too My this Problem... Then I am Little Bit relaxed but those Flash back Come In my mind each day ... Then i am become soo restless ... Please help me too get rid from that painfull past memory...

Hi... Psychotherapy/Counselling does not work like a typical allopathic consultation/treatment. It works on a longer period of time. If you would have taken therapy right after this incident happened. It would have been easier for you to overcome it and a clinical intervention would also have been easier. But since this incident got repressed for 6 years approx., it would have impacted your developmental process also because it happened during puberty and your early teenage. If you have already consulted a Psychologist and it helped you. It would be best for you to continue with your treatment with the same professional. If not so, you can seek therapy elsewhere, online/offline. Any way minimum 6-8 months and maximum 1-2 years of weekly counselling sessions will be required to yield effective change. Every human being is different and they take their own time to recover from a scar.
