Hello there It is good to know u r taking medical help but since all Psychological disorders have root in our psyche , it is very important to combine Psychological counselling along with medicines. Even IBS management is incomplete without dealing in with deep rooted  psychological issues in our subconscious mind. Plz consult qualified Clinical Psychologist and Psychiatrist in your area to get long-term relief from your symptoms. Good wishes

Hi there I understand your concern...There is no specific treatment of this disease. It can be controlled by altering diet pattern, psychological therapy and medicines. You can take course of antibiotics containing Ofloxacin and Ornidazole twice daily for five days...Consult nearest gastroenterologist.

You should update your psychiatrist about your current condition, and also start with Psychotherapy sessions from Clinical Psychologist.

IBS as widely accepted  is the side of stress  , anxiety etc.. Medicines would definitely help you to control it. But to  becone completely free from IBS counselling  also should be added  to your regular treatment .

Hi Mr Pintukumar, firstly the IBS i.e, Irritable Bowel Syndrome presents as frequent urges to pass stools and urine , feeling of gut being not completely emptied even after passing stools , anxiety about the same . IBS has a strong association with Anxiety disorder / Anxious personality disorder . An evaluation by a Physician / Gastroenterologist is essential to rule out other chronic bowel problems . Once that is done treatment of anxiety with adequate doses of medication along with CBT ( Cognitive Behaviour Therapy ) , increasing the fibre content in your diet , regular food intake and regular exercise should control most of your symptoms . Wish you a early recovery . Thank you .
