It depends upon the medication you are using some medications can cause drowsiness or sedation such medications are need to be taken at night…some medications need to be taken along with food so as to decrease stomach upset or increase its absorption…so it all depends upon the medication you are using and each medicine has its own pharmacological properties accordingly they are prescribed
