Antibiotics after surgery
I had tibia interlocking nailing surgery 8 days ago . Iam taking 2 antibiotics amoxiclav 625 and linezolid, from 8 days how much days i should take antibiotics, my swelling has reduced very much nearly no swelling.
Please tell me should i continue antibiotics or stop it .

If no wound before surgery, then no need for antibiotics for such a long time.

Dear,
If preoperatively, there was no wound or any infection and after surgery if your dressing is dry with no sign of infection,
You can stop linizolid with consultation of your treating surgeon.
