Dear,
If preoperatively, there was no wound or any infection and after surgery if your dressing is dry with no sign of infection,
You can stop linizolid with consultation of your treating surgeon.
It is important to follow the instructions and advice of your surgeon or healthcare provider regarding the duration of antibiotic treatment. In general, antibiotic treatment is typically prescribed for a specific period of time to prevent infection after surgery. The duration of treatment may vary depending on the type of surgery, the type of bacteria that may be present, and individual patient factors.
If you have any concerns or questions about your antibiotic treatment, it is important to discuss them with your surgeon or healthcare provider. They can provide you with specific guidance and advice based on your individual medical history and current condition.
