Hi,
Reasently I had taken my wife to a psychiatrist and he diagnosed that she has depression and must be treated with medicines.
I have heard that these medicines have side effects; is it true ?
Is it safe to go for medication? Could someone help.

Hi if u ask about side effects every meds has side effects the paracetomol also has many side effects plus a psychiatrist when presecribe they take careof sideeeffects first which meds will suit the pt they decide on pt wt and height and any other meds if theybare taking fro any physical illness like copd asthama diabetes etc. I would say dont become doctor google if ur wife is taking treatment its gud for her health and keep a regular follow up wid a psychiatrist dats all u should do .
Remember u cant be physically fit until ur mentally fit also brain is also a partbof our body which can also dysfunction sometimes so treatment is mandatory for it also
