Ankle twist pain not cured completely
Hi, I had an ankle twist on a trip in nov 2024. I have taken proper rest in first few weeks and travelled to another city in dec. I am able to walk for long but unable to stretch my foot as I still feel the pain. I would like to start gym exercises soon, can you please suggest how to cure this pain soon? I am unable to jog or stretch foot right now.

Consult a doctor to rule out serious damage. Rest, ice, and avoid jogging. Start gentle stretches (ankle circles, calf stretches) and progress to strengthening (heel raises, resistance bands). Use an ankle brace for support. Gradually resume low-impact activities. Seek help if pain persists or worsens after 2–3 weeks.

Thank you for reaching out. It’s good to hear that you’ve been able to walk, but the persistent pain when stretching your foot or jogging indicates that your ankle may not be fully healed.
Next Steps
Please consult for prescription for pain management and faster recovery
Health Tips
1. Continue rest and gradual activity 2. Wear ankle braise 3. Physical therapy 4. Pain management: apply ice pack 15-20 minutes 2-3 times per day

Ankle being a body part which has a poor blood supply, ankle injuries can take a long time to heal. Its better to rule out any ligament injury before starting gymming as it may worsen your injury.
Next Steps
Consult with a pain management specialist for proper evaluation and long term relief.
Health Tips
Avoid standing at a place for more than 10 minutes

Your condition needs further evaluation. So I'd recommend you consult any doctor locally or via tele consultation so that your condition can be properly assessed and treated accordinglyFurther evaluation of your condition is recommended for optimal care.  Consulting with a doctor, either in person or through a telehealth platform, would be beneficial.  This will allow a healthcare professional to assess your specific needs.  They can then provide personalized guidance and recommendations.  Taking proactive steps towards your health is always encouraged.
