Ankle sprain
I had an ankle sprain around 6 days ago Swelling has reduced and i am able to walk but not perfectly.I am taking medicine as prescribed and applying a gel also regularly Is it safe for me to climb stairs and walk constantly for 2-4 mins

Ankle needs rigid immobilisation for 6 weeks post injury. Apply ice packs locally and take medication like Enzomac, Tendocare to reduce swelling.

Do not walk over injured ankle as it might give you trouble later.

Climbing stairs is safe provided you do it slowly and holding on to railing...you have shown good recovery in  6 days...better is to take things lightly and let ankle recover completely, before you start walking too much
