Ankle injury
I had an ankle injury since 4 days and i went yesterday for xray. So plz look at the exray report . Is it normal .

Looks normal , but examination is needed to asses ligament injury .

Looks suspiciously like an ankle fracture. Please consult an Orthopedic surgeon. It will probably require a plaster.

The xray provided here looks normal in the picture. It is always better if you could show it to your orthopedic doctor once too as there might be an undisplaced fracture that is usually not visible when we take a pic of the xray. As of now what you can do is, if you have to go for work or stand for longer times, buy an ankle binder and put it over the ankle. It is very easy to wear, just like a sock. Along with that you need to wear sport shoes which have a good cushioned sole. That will help in resting the ankle. When lying down or at home, keep the leg elevated over 3-4 pillows and keep moving the toes. You can take some analgesics(pain relieving medications) alongwith to decrease the pain and swelling over the ankle. For anyother querries, you can always contact me .
