Avulsion injury left ankle at level of l
HI Doc. In 14/09/2025. I fell from bike and had ankel injury on next day i.e. 15/9/25 i went to dr. as there was lot of swelling n mid pain that area. So, dr. Did X ray and told i have suffered avulsion injury left ankle at level of lateral malleolus. Xray Attached. Currently on Plaster Fiber glass. For how long i have to be on Cast. Post Cast removal how long i need to avoid weight on my ankel.

Can't clearly visualise xray. As per your description as an avulsion fracture, a cast/slab immobilsation for 6 weeks with non weight bearing walking should do Limb elevation and active toe movements while lying down Take painkillers when necessary

X ray visibility is not good Usually immobilize for 4-6 weeks then physiotherapy for 6weeks Avoid sports and jumping activities

Post proper photo of xray. For fracture, plaster for 4-6wks and then physiotherapy

U need to be on plaster cast for 4 weeks Post removal u can walk but avoid running jumping and sports activities for 3 months!
