After 1 month from injury, gradually start putting weight on the injured foot. But not suddenly. Avoid any excessive activities or sports for at least 3 months.

Hello. In cases of fracture or severe soft tissue injury such as in ir case we generally apply cast for 4 to 6 weeks. Even off slab weight bearing restrictions have to be followed for 6 weeks.
Next Steps
Get a cast done or at least be non weight bearing for 6 weeks.
