Ankle and knee problems
My mother is 50 years old.Whenever she tries to climb  upstairs her knee and ankle starts hurting. Her ankle swells if she keeps her feet in a dangling or swinging position. She automatically developed bruises on her thighs even though she doesn't get hurt.

The pain is due to the inability of the leg muscles and the joints to work efficiently due to weakness and degeneration. The swelling on sitting is because her feet are dangling and ecchymosis due to pressure of some surface while sitting.
