Ankle and knee pain
Hi Doctor, I had a ankle twist 4 years before and I got treated with having a shoe for some days. But I'm getting numbness and pain often these years. My struggle is how to place the right leg correctly while sleeping and it brings more pain in every night especially. Over the period, Im psychologically affected and adjusting foot position while standing and walking which bring pain if I think about the foot position. I would like to strengthen my leg, knee and ankle.. But if I go to any physio nearby, I'm getting Non-exercise based treatment only for any issue.. Like warm towel, ultrasonic hammer massage and acotherpy machine beat.. Please advise which type will help me strengthen my leg and pose of walking and placing the foot. Thank you!

1. Don't worry sir , do a assessment diagnosis with a senior sports physiotherapist 2. It can be cured once u meet a senior sports physiotherapist & do a proper manual therapy, deep tissue foot massage 3. U can start ankle mobilization first and then calf stretching followed by tibialis anterior stretching 4. Andrewphysiotherapist is my you tube channel kindly check and watch it

First of all you should do an MRI for your ankle and foot to rule out the current problem. Based on your report further treatment can be planned.

The Pain should be redyced before starting any exercises, If the exercises are done in pain then the pain will get more severe. So take Ultrasound therapy and do hot water fermentation twice a day to reduce pain. After reducing of pain, the physio will start the exercises.
