Hello doctor,
I am 16 years old. Recently, I tested for Dengue and from that result, I came to know that my hemoglobin level has gone down to 9.5. The hemoglobin level was 10.2 just 11 days earlier from the testing date of Dengue.
In the CBC result, the MCV level has also come lower, which is 70.
I do not have any sign of blood loss (i.e. do not have any physical injury, trauma or black/tarry stool). I also do not feel any remarkable type of weakness.
What is the problem doctor? Is it due to iron deficiency or something more serious?
